The Toyota Innova Hycross facelift interior could receive some of the most noticeable improvements. Recent test images indicate a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a redesigned dashboard. The test vehicle also appears to use an all-black dashboard instead of the brown-and-black dual-tone finish offered on the current model. New upholstery, revised trim materials and updated cabin colours are also expected, helping the three-row MPV feel fresher and more premium.

Heavy camouflage hides many details, but the front section appears substantially revised. Reports point to a squarer grille, slimmer headlamps with new projector units and a redesigned front bumper. The side profile looks largely familiar. The test vehicle retains the same basic body shape, prominent wheel arches and roofline. Major mechanical changes are not expected. The facelift is likely to retain the existing 2.0-litre petrol engine with a CVT automatic and the 2.0-litre strong-hybrid system with an e-CVT. Autocar India reports outputs of approximately 173hp for the petrol version and 184hp for the hybrid. Until Toyota releases official technical details, this should be treated as a possibility rather than a confirmed addition.
Expected Launch Timeline
Reports currently differ on timing. Some publications suggest a festive-season launch in late 2026, while stronger recent indications point to an early 2027 introduction. Toyota has not confirmed a launch date, pricing or variant details. A 2027 arrival appears more likely because the Innova Hycross entered the Indian market in late 2022 and is approaching the usual stage for a mid-life update.
The facelift should help the Innova Hycross remain competitive against the Maruti Suzuki Invicto and other premium three-row vehicles. Its combination of family-friendly space, hybrid efficiency and upgraded technology is expected to remain central to its appeal.
