The long-range Syros EV delivers 171hp and 255Nm, with the smaller-battery model producing 135hp. Kia says the 51.4kWh model will sprint from 0-100km/h in 8.1 seconds. It has a bigger battery, and can go from 10 to 80 percent in 39 minutes on a 100kW DC charger.
The VF6 Earth has 130kW and 250Nm, while the Wind variants go to 150kW and 310Nm. More stronger variants are claimed to do 0-100km/h in 8.5 seconds. VinFast says DC charging is 100kW and claims 10 to 70 percent in 25 minutes. Higher variations also get Level 2 ADAS, six airbags and a 360-degree camera.
In return the VF6 brings Level 2 ADAS, a colour head-up display, connected-car tech, dual-zone temperature, ventilated front seats, a motorised driver’s seat, vegan-leather upholstery and an edge-to-edge panoramic glass roof. The cabin is more pared back. Kia offers better rear-passenger comfort.
