Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo Edition Gets New Color Options With Only 200 Units Available

Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo gets new limited edition dual-tone colour options in India. Skoda Auto India has introduced Shimla Green and Steel Grey shades, with only 200 units available for customers. The new colours are offered without any price increase and are available with both automatic variants of the sporty sedan.

The new colour editions are designed to enhance the visual appeal of the Slavia Monte Carlo while keeping the existing features and mechanical package unchanged. The dual-tone finish includes a contrasting black roof, giving the sedan a more aggressive and premium look.

New Colours Add More Exclusivity to Monte Carlo Edition

The Slavia Monte Carlo continues to be positioned as the sportiest version of the sedan range. It retains its signature blacked-out exterior elements, Monte Carlo badging, black alloy wheels and black-and-red themed interior. The new Shimla Green and Steel Grey shades further add exclusivity for buyers looking for a distinctive midsize sedan.

The limited-edition colours are inspired by Skoda’s motorsport heritage, especially the brand’s long association with the Rallye Monte Carlo event since 1912. Skoda says the new shades aim to offer customers a more personalised ownership experience.

Engine Options and Performance Details Remain Same

The engine options remain unchanged. The 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine produces 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The more powerful 1.5-litre TSI engine generates 150 PS and 250 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

The 1.5-litre TSI continues to feature Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), which shuts down two cylinders during light driving conditions to improve fuel efficiency. It also gets plasma-coated cylinder liners for better heat management and reduced friction.

Limited Units Arrive Before Slavia Facelift Launch

The Slavia Monte Carlo 1.0 TSI is priced from around Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom), while the 1.5 TSI DSG version starts at around Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Over the last three months, the Slavia has recorded average sales of nearly 1,000 units per month, making it one of the stronger performers in India’s midsize sedan segment.

The launch comes ahead of the expected Skoda Slavia facelift, which is likely to arrive in the coming weeks. While Skoda has not officially connected the limited editions with the facelift launch, the 200-unit production run could help maintain customer interest in the current model before the updated version arrives.
