2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Leak Reveals New Design Features and Expected Launch Details
The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift is turning up to be one of the biggest small SUV improvements of the year. Recent leaks and official teases hint that Maruti Suzuki is working on a sharper design, a richer cabin, better safety tech and an additional turbo-petrol engine. Bookings have commenced at ₹11,000 via the company’s website and licensed ARENA dealerships. There are many speculations which suggest the debut date to be July 24, 2026, yet on the official page of Maruti Suzuki it only states “soon” launch.
Maruti Brezza Facelift Engine Options & Mileage 2026
The 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift will likely continue to use the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. Leaked details hint at an output of roughly 103 PS and 139 Nm. Transmissions include a five-speed manual and a six-speed torque-converter automatic. There’s also a good chance of a CNG variant with an underbody-mounted tank that might give you more usable trunk space than a standard trunk-mounted layout.

Exterior Design Refreshed
The facelift is likely to carry over the Brezza’s familiar upright profile with carefully targeted design modifications. Official teasers and spy photographs reveal an updated front bumper, a new grille, new fog lamp housings and new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
The rear could get a slightly redesigned bumper, but the present tail-lamp design and Brezza logo on the tailgate are expected to be mainly retained. There are also reports of dark chrome grille elements, dual-tone side cladding and two probable new hues called Vivacious Orange and Lustre Beige.
Safety Improvements
The new model could get a big increase in safety technology. The leaked equipment list includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning, front parking sensors, tyre-pressure monitoring, LED fog lamps and safe-exit feature. The safe-exit feature is designed to sense vehicles approaching from behind and help prevent occupants from opening a door into their path.
The new Brezza gets six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assistance, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat mounts and a 360-degree camera on select models. The extra safety features could increase the facelifted SUV’s competitive edge, although the final safety kit is still to be verified.
Key features, cabin updates
Inside, the 2019 Brezza could have a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with over 35 built-in programmes and Alexa functionality. Other rumoured changes include ventilated front seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, air purifier with PM2.5 monitoring and new cabin materials.
Depending on the variation you choose, you can also expect wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, automated climate control, a head-up display, cruise control and a sunroof. While the overall architecture of the dashboard may stay similar, new colours and trim pieces will give it a more expensive look.
Expected Launch & Price
Bookings for the new Brezza are now officially open at Rs 11,000. Multiple automotive media have pegged the launch date of the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Alto as July 24, 2026, while Maruti Suzuki has said further details would be shared closer to the launch.
The price will start from between Rs 8.6 lakh to Rs 8.9 lakh, ex-showroom. The new engine, safety tech and better comfort features will likely make higher trims more pricey.
