- Content involving children that may compromise their safety or dignity
- Any content that violates Indian laws
- Any other complaint about our editorial conduct
3. How to File a Grievance
Send your complaint to grievance@castingbay.in with the following information:
- Your full name and contact details
- The URL of the specific article or content you are complaining about
- Clear description of the issue or grievance
- Supporting evidence or documents, if applicable
- The relief or action you are seeking
- Confirmation that you are filing the grievance in good faith
4. Grievance Redressal Timeline
As per IT Rules 2021:
- Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of receipt
- Resolution: Within 15 days of receipt
- For complaints requiring extensive investigation, we will inform you of the extended timeline
5. Resolution Process
Step 1: Acknowledgment
The Grievance Officer acknowledges receipt of your complaint within 24 hours and assigns a unique reference number.
Step 2: Investigation
We investigate your complaint by:
- Reviewing the disputed content
- Consulting the writer and editorial team
- Examining supporting evidence you provided
- Cross-checking with our sources, if needed
Step 3: Decision and Action
Based on the investigation, we may:
- Correct the content as per our Correction Policy
- Update or modify the article
- Add the complainant’s response or right of reply
- Issue a public apology if warranted
- Remove or unpublish the content
- Reject the complaint with a clear explanation of why
Step 4: Communication
We communicate our decision and action taken to the complainant in writing via email.
6. Escalation
Self-Regulatory Body
Under IT Rules 2021, digital news publishers may be members of a self-regulatory body. If applicable, details of our self-regulatory body will be published on this page.
Inter-Departmental Committee
As a final escalation, complaints can be referred to the Inter-Departmental Committee constituted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
7. Code of Ethics Compliance
Castingbay.in adheres to:
- Norms of Journalistic Conduct of the Press Council of India
- Programme Code under the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act, 1995, where applicable for video content
- The Code of Ethics for digital news publishers under IT Rules 2021
8. Compliance Report
As per IT Rules 2021, we maintain records of all grievances received and actions taken. A monthly compliance report is prepared and made available to relevant authorities when required.

Complainant information is treated as confidential and is only used for processing the grievance. Personal information is not shared publicly unless necessary for resolution or required by law.
10. Frivolous Complaints
While we welcome genuine grievances, we reserve the right to decline frivolous, abusive, or repetitive complaints that are clearly intended to harass rather than seek legitimate redressal.
