UP Weather Update IMD Predicts Heavy Rain in 50 Districts Across Uttar Pradesh Today
UP Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rain in several parts of Uttar Pradesh today with around 50 districts likely to witness heavy showers along with thunderstorms and lightning activity. The weather department has also issued an alert warning to be alert as monsoon conditions are likely to become active across the state.

The regional weather centre has warned that some areas could see heavy rain in a short time period. People in low-lying areas have been warned to watch out for the possibility of local flooding and disruption.
Weather experts said the situation would lead to weather-related problems in vulnerable areas despite respite from the heat and humidity and active monsoon conditions are likely to continue in Uttar Pradesh.

The expected rains could be a boon for farmers especially those who depend on monsoon rains for their Kharif crops. adequate rainfall in this period is very important for paddy and other seasonal agricultural activities.
But heavy rain could be a problem for cities too. Heavy rainfall in places can cause water logging, traffic disruption and power related issues. Authorities are warning people to not travel unless necessary in bad weather.
